Crediting guidelines
Social media posts using iWalk Cornwall photos
If you use photos from iWalk Cornwall social media/website as the basis of a new social media post from your own account, the following guidelines apply:
- All platforms: watermarks must be left intact on the photos.
- Facebook: you must state near the top of the post that photo is by iWalk Cornwall, and the "iWalk Cornwall" must be a @iwalkcornwall mention (link to the iWalk Cornwall facebook page).
- Instagram: you must state near the top of the post the photo is by iWalk Cornwall app and include a @iwalkcornwall mention within the post text.
- Twitter: "by @iwalkc" is sufficient (due to the character limit).
Organised walks using iWalk Cornwall walks/app
If you are using the iWalk Cornwall app/walks as the basis of an advertised, organised walk, the following crediting guidelines apply:
Social media
- Facebook: you must state near the top of the post that the walk was done with the iWalk Cornwall app and the "iWalk Cornwall" must be a @iwalkcornwall mention (link to the iWalk Cornwall facebook page).
- Instagram: you must state near the top of the post that the walk was done with the iWalk Cornwall app and include a @iwalkcornwall mention within the post text.
- Twitter: "with @iwalkc" is sufficient (due to the character limit).
Websites and Blog Articles
- You must state that the walk was done with the iWalk Cornwall app (or the walk was from iWalk Cornwall if you used a PDF version instead), linking to https://www.iwalkcornwall.co.uk/.
- For each walk discussed, you must include a link to the relevant walk page on the iWalk Cornwall website.
Print media, Radio and TV
- You must state that the walk was done with the iWalk Cornwall app (or the walk was from iWalk Cornwall if you used a PDF version instead).
