Little Molunan beach
Little Molunan is covered at high tide and as the tide goes out, a tiny beach is revealed with coarse sand. Little Molunan is separated from Great Molunan by a small headland ending in a ridge of rock which is possible to cross over between the two beaches on a low tide. On a low spring tide, the sand of the two beaches below this joins up.
Little Molunan beach faces into the Carrick Roads estuary and is only accessible on foot from the coast path, or by boat.
