Below are some ideas for routes that can either be split into two separate shorter circular walks or can be done as a reduced-length circular.

NB. The info for how to split the walk is only listed here at the moment (not within the walk) so you'll want to take a printout/screenshot of this page as a reminder of which directions to cut between. It's also worth having a look at this info alongside the map of the normal route in the app before setting out.

    Polurrian and Mullion Coves loop (3 miles): start from the beginning and at direction 3 stay on Laflouder lane which fades out into a track, until you reach a junction of tracks and paths at a Motorcycles/Cars prohibited sign. Turn left down this to shortcut to direction 14 and follow the route to the end.

Follow the route to direction 15 and after crossing the stream turn left to follow the path down the valley to direction 11 and follow the route along the coast from here. Then retrace your steps across the beach. Parking: Kynance Cove car park.

    Plushabridge loop (2.8 miles): From the car park, walk backwards along the route to direction 38 then turn right to reach direction 14 and continue from here.

    Kilkhampton Common and Penstowe loop (2.2 miles): shortcut by turning left at direction 16 and left again at direction 34.

    Can be split into separate 3.1 and 3.7 mile circular walks:

    Seaton loop (3.1 miles): start from the beginning and when you reach direction 9, turn right onto the lane and follow it to a junction. Turn left at the junction (signposted No Man's Land) to shortcut to direction 19.

    Millendreath loop (3.7 miles): start from direction 14 and when you reach direction 19, stay on the lane to reach a junction signposted to Murrayton. Turn right here to shortcut to direction 9. Parking: Millendreath car park.

    3.2 - 5.5 miles; Moderate-strenuous

    Can be split into 3.6 and 3.2 mile circular routes:

    Carn Galver loop (3.6 miles): start from the beginning and at direction 8 turn right to shortcut to direction 17.

    Mên-an-Tol loop (3.2 miles): Follow the track from the car park to join the route at direction 16. Then at direction 17, shortcut to direction 8 and follow the route to direction 16. Turn left here to follow the track back to the car park. Parking: Bosullow car park.
